Overview
Lingqi Technology provides a comprehensive secondary system communication solution for distributed photovoltaic (PV) grid connection. The solution integrates telecontrol, local monitoring, AGC/AVC automatic generation control, dispatch data communication, and grid cybersecurity into a unified architecture. By leveraging Lingqi’s PBox series intelligent communication gateways, a single device replaces the traditional 4-5 discrete components, drastically simplifying system architecture and reducing deployment costs by up to 40%. The solution covers grid connection voltage levels from 10kV to 110kV and supports string, central, and distributed inverter topologies.
The core technology stack comprises four key layers: the telecontrol layer collects data from inverters, combiner boxes, pad-mounted transformers, and meters, then forwards it via IEC 60870-5-101/104 to dispatch centers; the AGC/AVC control layer receives grid dispatch commands and dynamically allocates active and reactive power across inverters using the PBox6220-PQCT; the cybersecurity layer deploys vertical encryption authentication and horizontal physical isolation devices; and the cloud layer pushes real-time operational data to owner O&M centers through MQTT/HTTP. Applicable standards include IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, and national grid security regulations.
