Overview

Lingqi’s Remote Debugging & Industrial VPN Solution enables engineers to remotely access, program, and troubleshoot industrial equipment located behind firewalls and NAT gateways — without requiring public IP addresses or dedicated leased lines. Lingqi gateways establish military-grade TLS 1.3 encrypted tunnels between field devices and the engineering workstation, creating a secure virtual LAN that makes remote PLCs, HMIs, drives, and sensors appear as local devices. Engineers can use any standard programming software (Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi GX Works, Omron CX-Programmer, Rockwell Studio 5000, etc.) for online monitoring, program upload/download, and configuration changes.

The solution’s VPN technology is purpose-built for industrial environments. Unlike generic IT VPNs, Lingqi’s industrial VPN handles the real-time, connection-oriented nature of industrial protocols (S7, MC, FINS, Modbus TCP) without timeout issues or data corruption. It supports multi-site star, mesh, and chain topologies, allowing a single engineer to manage hundreds of remote sites from one console. Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3 and optional national cryptographic algorithms (SM2/SM3/SM4), meeting the highest security requirements for critical infrastructure.

Key applications include remote PLC commissioning for machine builders, distributed pump station monitoring, wind turbine SCADA access, and robotic cell remote support. By replacing truck rolls with remote sessions, customers typically achieve 80% reduction in field service costs, 90% faster initial fault diagnosis, and significantly reduced carbon footprint from reduced travel.
